EDUCATION CLASS

NAMI Homefront

NAMI Homefront is a free, six-session educational program for families, caregivers, and friends of military service members and veterans living with a mental health condition. Based on the nationally recognized Family-to-Family program, Homefront is designed specifically around the experiences of the military and veteran community.

The class is taught by trained family members of service members and veterans — people who understand the unique challenges of supporting someone who has served.

About this program

Homefront helps families understand what their service member or veteran may be experiencing related to trauma, combat stress, the transition to civilian life, PTSD, and other mental health conditions. Just as importantly, it helps family members support their loved one while maintaining their own well-being.
